Volunteering is when people freely choose to contribute their time, energy and skills to benefit others. Volunteering is never paid but you should be offered reimbursement for out of pocket expenses such as travel and car parking costs.  Our Volunteer Centre service finds suitable placements for people wanting to volunteer.  Volunteering is open to everyone. Everyone can volunteer whatever your interest or ability. No matter where you live, whether you’re employed or unemployed, young or old, have lots of free time or only a little to give, there will be something useful for you to do to make a difference.

North Herefordshire Voluntary Action is a Local Development Agency working throughout Herefordshire. We can offer practical support and guidance on a wide range of issues including setting up groups, funding, becoming a charity, social enterprise support and anything that will help your group to work in a more effective way.  For more details telephone  07855 784 804 or e-mail Rosie Davidson at gvcommunitycoordinator@hotmail.com.
